The Bellwood group will participate in the following projects for 2016:

Valentine's Day Treats for the Troops:  We are partnering again with the Bellwood Antis Middle School to pack and send Valentine's Day treat bags to deployed troops.  COMPLETED - shipped 429 treat bags.

Operation: Socks for Soldiers: This project runs from May through September.  We will collect black crew socks and white ankle socks to send to troops deployed in the Middle East as temperatures are extremely high there.  We will roll socks into "sock cupcakes" at our summer meetings.

Cards and letters for the troops: We accept cards and letters to send to our deployed troops throughout the year.

Mission Kits: We collect Mission Kits year round to send to deployed troops.

Prayer Patches:  We collect prayer patches year round to send to chaplains.

Prayer Shawls and Dish Cloths:  We collected knitted or crocheted prayer shawls and dish cloths year round to send to wives and mothers of deployed chaplains and service members.

Stockings for the Troops: Our 2016 Stocking project will launch in September.
